Cheetahs
Cool Facts: Cheetahs are found in Africa. They live for up to 12 years, weigh up to 140 lbs, and can grow as tall as 2 1/2 to 3 feet. The Cheetah is the fastest land mammal (avg. 75 mph). They do not roar, but purr like house cats and make chirping sounds like birds.

Elephants
Cool Facts: Elephants are found in Africa & India. They can live up to 70 years & weigh up to 15,000 lbs. They cool themselves off with their ears. African elephants' ears are larger than India's elephants'.

Giraffes
Cool Facts: Giraffes are found in Africa. They live for up to 25 years. They are the world's tallest mammal at up to about 18 - 20 ft tall. They can weigh up to 3,500 lbs. Giraffes have a short sleep requirement which is about 2 hrs. a day.

Gorillas
Cool Facts: Gorillas are found in Africa. They live for about 30 to 50 yrs. They grow up to 450 pounds & 5 1/2 ft. tall. Gorillas eat fruits, leaves, roots, and other plants. They have unique fingerprints.

Koala Bears
Cool Facts: Koala Bears are found in Australia. They live up to 17 yrs. They grow to be about 30 pounds and 2 ft tall. Koala Bears live in Eucalyptus trees. The leaves and bark are it's favorite food. They sleep about 16 hours a day.

Panda (Giant Panda)
Cool Facts: Giant Pandas are found in Asia. They live up to 30 years. Giant Pandas have distinct fur colors of black & white. Their favorite foods are leaves & shoots of the bamboo tree.

Polar Bears
Cool Facts: Polar Bears are found in arctic areas of the world like Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Norway, and Russia. They can weight up to 1400 lbs., and 10 feet tall. Their life spand is about 25 years. Their fur is water repellent. Their skin is black underneath traps heat to help keep them warm. They can swim up to 100 miles at a time. Bears eat seals for food.

Whale (Orca Whale)
Cool Facts: Orca Whales are found in the oceans. They live up to 50 yrs. and grow up to 23 ft. long. Whales eat fish, squid, and other marine mammals. They also eat birds that abide near water. Whales can swim up to 35 mph.

Whooping Crane
Cool Facts: The Whooping Crane is North America's tallest bird. It stands up to about 5 ft. tall and weighs up to 17 lbs. It can live up to 24 years. It's named for the whooping calls or sounds it makes.
